June 2009—The Huffington Post: Authored by PCP Associate Mary Jacksteit, the piece "Pro-Life and Pro-Choice can Work Together" shares two examples in which activists have worked together to defuse the dangerously polarized dynamics of the abortion controversy.

June 2009—Salon.com: An opinion piece by Frances Kissling, "How to talk about abortion" asks if pro-life and pro-choice activists can really find common ground while illustrating the value of PCP and its dialogue approach to one strong advocate around the issue.

January 2009—National Catholic Reporter: "Reducing angry rhetoric helped abortion dialogue" quotes pro-life and pro-choice leaders as they reflect on the highly confidential abortion dialogues that the Public Conversations Project facilitated ten years ago.

July 2008—Chicago Tribune: "Democratic 'family' rift hard to heal" quotes the Public Conversations Project's Dave Joseph in its exploration of how Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama's supporters can come together and move forward after a divisive campaign.

July 2008—Boston Globe: "Gloucester holds pregnancy forum" mentions the Public Conversations Project's role in leading three upcoming community meetings to address the 17 teen pregnancies reported at Gloucester High School last academic year.

July 2007—Boston Herald: "It's all about getting both sides to talk peacefully" highlights the Public Conversations Project's work in Burundi, training a group of Burundian master trainers to facilitate dialogues among Hutu, Tutsi, and Twa villagers, who have experienced decades of inter-ethnic strife and civil war.

February 2007—Boston Globe:"Quilters hope to link patchwork of views" describes the kickoff of the Ramallah Quilt Project, an afternoon during which people of various faiths participated in conversations about the Israeli-Palestine conflict while stitching a quilt for a Ramallah meeting house.

July/August 2006—Congregations: A publication of the Alban Institute. "Respectfully Disagreeing: How Dialogue Works to Transform Conflict” profiles the Public Conversations Project, its dialogue process, and provides tips on how dialogue can be helpful to congregations.

2005—The Catalogue for Philanthropy: Features PCP as one of 72 “examples of excellence” in philanthropy. The Public Conversations Project was chosen from a total pool of more than 7,000 eligible organizations.

November 2005—O, The Oprah Magazine: "Pro-Understanding" focuses on PCP's flagship project facilitating dialogues between leaders on both sides of the abortion issue.

August/September 2005—American Journalism Review: Communicates and elaborates on PCP-type questions for journalists: If the stories journalists tell about conflict focus primarily on the dissent between extremes, does that actually foster polarization? And if we so, should we do anything to change that?

July/August, 2005—State Legislatures: "Getting beyond polarization" describes how to thwart the anti-democratic effects of polarization. By PCP associate Richard Chasin.

October 15, 2004—The Christian Science Monitor: The final op-ed of from a series of articles exploring the "red/blue" political divide in the U.S. references PCP founder and board chair Laura Chasin contributed on building strong relationship with those we disagree with while maintaining core beliefs.

October 26, 2004—The Christian Science Monitor: "How to break the argument habit," by PCP founder and board chair Laura Chasin, emphasizes how dialogue can clear the smoke of political polarization.

March 27, 2003—The Seattle Post Intelligencer: "Debating the war—without the confrontation" mentions PCP's resources.

January 27, 2003—The National Catholic Reporter: Features an article with Laura Chasin about PCP's work with conflicts related to abortion.

January 19, 2003—NPR's All Things Considered: 10-minute interview wtih PCP's pro-life and pro-choice Dialogue Participants and facilitator Laura Chasin in recognition of the 30th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade.

September 8, 2002—The Boston Sunday Herald: "9/11, One Year Later" about an interfaith dialogue designed and facilitated by PCP.

March 7, 2002—The Boston Herald: Publishes an article about the community dialogue initiatives PCP developed in the wake of September 11, 2001.

May 8, 2001—The Christian Science Monitor: "Tough talk turns to trust" evaluates the impact of the pro-life and pro-choice leaders dialogue that followed the family planning clinic killings in Boston in December 1994.
