Bridging US Political Divides

The Christian Science Monitor recently ran a number of articles that seem to have struck a national nerve. Entitled "Talking with the Enemy," the series explores the political divide in the US. Laura Chasin, executive director of the Public Conversations Project (PCP), contributed an op-ed that encourages readers to put an end to unproductive, polarizing practices.

On this page, you will find tools to help you take the first step, including:

1. PCP's one-page guide to one-on-one constructive conversation.

2. PCP's 11 tips for making hard conversations work.

3. More resources to support dialogue across differences.

4. Anatomy of Two Conversations cartoon.
